Your confirmation is sent via email once you have completed the website checkout.

Prices

The fee for workshops covers your basic materials (brass, copper and/or sterling silver depending on workshop description). And use of all necessary tools and consumables such as solder and finishing/polishing consumables.

If you find that you finish your project quickly and there is sufficient time to make an additional item*, there is an extra charge payable on the day (bank transfer or cash accepted). This is subject to sufficient materials and time being available. So far everyone has used the full session to create one piece, so please expect this to be the case.

Health and Safety in the workshop

Health and safety in the workshop is very important and must be taken seriously. This is for the safety of all participants concerned and to prevent damage to the property.

At the start of the session these rules will be clearly explained to you. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have read and understood any safety information and instructions you are given. Any student who does not comply with the health and safety rules will be excluded from the session with no refund given. Fiona also reserves the right to exclude any student she feels may be a danger to themselves or other students. If, upon your arrival, Fiona considers you to be incapable of working safely due to alcohol, drugs or ill-health, you will be excluded from the class and no refund will be given. It is your responsibility to attend in a manner that ensures you are focused and safe.

By booking your workshop, you are deemed to have accepted these Terms of Booking, which you (and anyone else sharing the workshop with you) are asked to read before purchasing your workshop. You are responsible to pass on these Terms of Booking to any other students who may be attending your workshop with you.

These Terms of Booking only apply to your recent booking. It is your responsibility

to check for changes to the Terms of Booking each time you book or attend a

workshop.

Insurance

Fiona holds Public and Products Liability Insurance up to and including £5,000,000. If

you would like to see a copy of it, please request this by email to [email protected]

Refunds and cancellations

Fiona’s classes are in demand and places are limited. If you cancel more than four

weeks in advance, you will receive a full refund. Regretfully, cancellations made within four weeks of the course start date will not be refunded. Where possible, Fiona will do her best to facilitate an ‘exchange’, offering you an alternative workshop date. If you do not attend on the day for a workshop you booked, no refund will be given. If you arrive late to your workshop no changes will be made to the end time of the booking.

Very occasionally, due to illness or an emergency, workshops may be canceled at short notice. Should this happen, alternative dates will be made available. Should none of these dates be suitable a full refund will be given.
